My decorated sugar cookies are not what you may expect, they are not decorated with royal icing.  Forget what you've heard about fondant because most likely, you have heard about or eaten store bought fondant, and you're right, it is pretty, but it doesn't taste great. However, my fondant is made from scratch, and tastes like buttercream icing.  I can't tell you how many times I've heard "I don't eat fondant, but this fondant is good!"
